    Adult Programming

Adult EFNEP programming is administered by the University of Florida IFAS Extension using Eating Smart • Being Active, a curriculum for adults. It is a research-based curriculum based on the 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines, designed for Extension Program Assistants to assist limited-resource families with young children to make healthy lifestyle choices.

Each program is a series of lessons taught in a group setting for about 60 to 90 minutes. Additional lessons on pregnancy and infant feeding are available upon request.

  • Eligibility

EFNEP supports current and future parents or caregivers of children 18 years of age and younger who are eligible for any public assistance program.
